Over the last twenty years, Rob Kesselring has completed 16 canoe trips north of the sixtieth parallel including the Nahanni, Hood, Mara-Burnside, Mountain, Elk, Taltson, Thelon, Thekehili, and the Snowdrift. ?As a young man he lived in the Northwest Territories of Canada for eight years including a year in the bush, where his nearest neighbor was 100 miles away. He was a registered Class B Guide in the Arctic and an accomplished bush pilot.? Rob has written four books and many articles. His company Uncommon Seminars LLC brings wilderness canoeing metaphors to companies and organizations faced with change or renewal.? Shell fish, rock lobster, crayfish, salt cod, kingklip and snoek (a pickled fish) are only a few of the great dishes enjoyed very often. They can be served with onions, lemon butter, chilli peppers or a great curry. The crayfish are best served braised with onions and chillies and snoek must be barbecued.
If you are looking for variety, you won?t be disappointed vibram five fingers shoes ! Blatjang is chutney, and served with EVERYTHING. All you have to do is cook local fruits with garlic, chilly peppers and onions to mention just a few ingredients.
Local vegetables and fruit play a very important role in the daily diet. Tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, mealies, green beans, sweet potatoes, spinach and pumpkin are the most loved by everyone. Sweet potato and pampoenkoekies (little pumpkin cookies, or fritters) are greatly loved dishes, served with cinnamon sugar or a sweet syrup. After your great main course, you have to enjoy desserts, snacks and drinks, but that will be discussed in the next article.

Martha Stewart's Chow Chow wins at Westminster dog show
Westminster dog show: Martha Stewart's dog, GK, won its breed Monday. The Westminster dog show has 2,000 dogs and 185 breeds competing in New York.
Lifestyle guru Martha Stewart is not the only star in her household. Her Chow Chow dog, GK, won its breed at the 136th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Monday.
Skip to next paragraphThe Club holds its annual two-day event at Madison Square Garden in New York. This year 2,000 dogs representing 185 breeds and varieties from across the U.S. are vying to be named Best in Show on Feb 14.
GK, whose registered name is CH Pazzazz's Genghis Khan #8, competed in the Non-Sporting Group. He now advances to the Best in Group competition .
Stewart co-owns GK with Karen Tracy of Leighton, Pa. Leighton also owns GK's mother, who won the breed at Westminster last year.

This year, six new breeds of dogs, including Mexico's hairless Xoloitzcuintli, the Finnish Lapphund and the Norwegian Lundehund, are competing.
They join other newcomers, the Cesky Terrier, the American English Coonhound and the Entlebucher Mountain Dog, along with 179 other breeds and varieties vying to be named Best in Show on Feb 14 at the annual New York event that started in 1877 with 1,201 dogs.
This year's entries for the 136th show have been limited to 2,000 dogs.
"We will have at least two dogs in every breed, including the new ones," said David Frei, the?Westminster Kennel Club's director of communications and USA Network host.
"New breed is a little bit of a misnomer because a lot of these breeds have been around for hundreds, or even thousands of years in some of the cases," he told Reuters.
Before being included in the show, the breed must meet American Kennel Club (AKC) rules including having sufficient numbers in the United States, a certain geographical distribution and a parent club that makes sure they are following responsible breeding practices and meet certain characteristics.
"It is really an AKC decision, not ours," Frei said, adding that in the past 23 years, more than 40 breeds have been added to the show.
Among the more striking newcomers is the Xololitzcuintli, the national dog of Mexico, which was previously known as the Mexican Hairless and comes in three sizes.
"These dogs are descended from hairless dogs prized by the Aztecs and revered as guardians of the dead. Over 400 years later, these dogs were still to be found in the Mexican jungles," according to the WestminsterKennel Club.
Xoloitzcuintli expert Amy Fernandez said the decision to include the breed is long overdue. She has been working to get them included for 28 years.
"It is an ancient dog and probably the oldest breed in North America and its history dates back about 3,000 years," she said. "It has been recognized in almost every country in the world for many years and the U.S. has been the only holdout."
Fernandez, who admitted that the hairless breed is not to everyone's taste, described the dogs as very watchful, sensitive and great with children.
But with such stiff competition Frei said the odds of a rookie taking the top prize are "pretty long."
"The shortest time between a breed competing at Westminster and winning best of show is 27 years," said Frei. "That was the Bichon Frise. It had its first year in 1974 and won best in show in 2001."
Last year's winner was a Scottish Deerhound named Hickory.

John Edwards Investigated For MORE Campaign Finance Violations ...
Oh, it just keeps on getting better and better with this guy, doesn't it?
According to The National Enquirer, Federal election officials are claiming that John Edwards owes taxpayers over $2.1 MILLION in public matching funds, because he's apparently still spending money through the Presidential campaign he ran in 2008!
Reports apparently filed last week show that his primary campaign from four years ago spent $836,712 in 2011 - on airfare, hotel rooms, and cellphones!
Guess that's not gonna fare well in his indictment! You know, for all those campaign finance violations!
What a clASS act.
