At Hays Education we work with a variety of schools throughout Chesterfield to provide them with qualified DT teachers who are happy to work on a day to day or long term basis covering various absences. We are currently looking for teachers who specialise in Textiles, Food and Graphics.

We can offer teaching positions ranging from day to day roles through to regular cover, and even long term and permanent teaching jobs. This gives you the chance to use your knowledge and experience to date and show local schools what you have to offer.

It is essential that you have a minimum of 40 days classroom teaching experience within the last 2 years, and a history of planning and preparing lessons. You need to have a secondary PGCE. We are looking for teachers who can teach the National Curriculum in an inspiring, innovative and resourceful way. As a supply teacher, it is essential that you are highly organised and flexible, with a committed outlook to teaching.
