Stadium Journey, a sports traveler magazine, is embarking on a season-long adventure as they announced that one of their regional correspondents will experience a home game at each of the 32 NFL teams this season.
Sean McDonald, one of Stadium Journey?s top stadium travel experts, will make the 17-week long trip, and it will start on September 5 in Denver, Colorado when the Broncos host the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Sean?s trip will end in Seattle on December 29 when the Seahawks take on the St. Louis Rams.?
Sean will spend 119 days on the road and will go to various Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, Monday night and Thursday night games. He is also planning on making a trip to Dallas for the annual Thanksgiving Day game.
Stadium Journey is working to get five sponsors to support the trip. The plan is have each sponsor provide $10,000, for a grand total of $50,000. In return, the sponsors will get mentions in local media, a full-page ad in a future issue of Stadium Journey magazine and a mention in the Stadium Journey NFL stadium guide book which set to be released next year.
Stadium Journey was founded in 2009. The goal of the magazine is to be the ultimate resource for fans who want the best sports experience. The magazine is published every month and has gained 400 subscribers and sold more than 30,000 copies since the first issue was published in 2011.
Stadium Journey recently published a cookbook that is set to hit the shelves in the near future, and they just finished a guide to Texas college football stadiums.
