Bridlesmithgate Caves:?Nottingham. Man-made caves used as butchers, a salting chamber and an apothecary?s shop with a domed store cave and an ice house. These 13thC workings and artefacts are thought to be medieval underground caves for commercial and domestic use.
Ripley Castle:?Harrogate. Ripley castle, built in 1345, is full of armour, priests hiding holes and lots of great historical things to look at. Fun for all the family.
