Philadelphia trio Jukebox The Ghost originally formed while guitarist Tommy Siegel, pianist Ben Thornewill and drummer Jesse Kristin were in college in Washington, D.C. The group is known for its whimsical and energetic pop tunes, which draw from the band's love for Ben Folds, Elvis Costello, Queen, They Might Be Giants and The Flaming Lips.
The band grew up a lot in 2010, playing SXSW, Lollapalloza and on "The Late Show with David Letterman." In September, it released its second LP, Everything Under the Sun.
